Ballet 5:8 Performance

On Saturday, October 14th at 11 am, Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center (SRBCC) and Ballet 5:8 will present a FREE dance performance as part of Chicago Architecture Center’s Open House Chicago 2023. The event starts with an opening act by Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center’s Bomba Ensemble and special guests, including well-known Afro-Puerto Rican folklorist, choreographer and educator Tata Cepeda and Ballet 5:8 performing their beloved favorites, Mi Familia and Dia de Los Vivos, as well as a sneak peek to of their brand new work The Lost Women of Juarez. This event received generous support from Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
