Street Level Youth Digital Media Center

Street Level began in 1993, when two artists and a teacher worked with teens from West Town to produce documentary videos about the neighborhood. A few years later, in 1995, a storefront location was acquired and the nonprofit became one of the first in the nation to offer technology access and media arts training to youth ages 13-24. In 2017, it became part of Urban Gateways, a larger organization that offers arts experiences for tens of thousands of children each year.
