Armitage Baptist Church

This historic church in the heart of Logan Square hosts a large and diverse Baptist congregation representing more than 40 different ethnicities and nationalities. The roughly 60,000-square-foot facility was designed by architect Clarence Hatzfeld in 1921 as the Logan Square Masonic Temple, and includes multiple spaces for worship, community services, and administration. Tour the sprawling building and check out a ceremonial hall that is now used as a gym.
