Capital One

Banking giant Capital One’s “Shop” is an innovative space high above the Loop where a staff of 100 designs and tests new consumer products. Designed by Chicago-based architecture firm Gensler, this modern workplace is a blend of open, startup-inspired collaborative spaces, shared social areas and traditional offices. The “Shop” is chock full of playful furniture, including “Ferris wheel” seats, and eye-catching murals by local painters. It offers unobstructed views of Marina City and the riverfront through floor-to-ceiling windows.
