Basecamp

This office is located in a former photo studio. It is the home of something found in millions of other offices around the world: Basecamp, a web-based project management tool. Though Basecamp employees are able to work productively from anywhere, their Chicago headquarters is an inviting space for them to gather and exchange ideas face-to-face. Brininstool + Lynch designed the interiors with abundant natural light. The space features hard surfaces that are softened and textured with fabrics and cork. Flexible workspaces accommodate solo or collaborative work, while an auditorium and oversized kitchen can be used to bring the entire staff together for business or fun.
