The Wing

The Wing is a women-focused coworking space and social club whose first Chicago location opened in Fulton Market in spring 2019. The Wing originated in New York and has expanded to other cities, but the Chicago space is tailored specifically to local needs and tastes, with more communal seating and a design that subtly nods at the Prairie Style of architecture. Inviting and light-filled spaces feature a library of books about and by women (with curatorial assistance from Women and Children First), and a rotating gallery of photos and paintings by Chicago-based female-identifying artists. The Perch café is the social heart of the club, which offers frequent lectures and other special programs, but conference rooms named after notable Chicago women offer space to meet and conduct more private business.
