The Theatre School at DePaul University

With open spaces and a strong sense of transparency throughout, The Theatre School is both a performance venue and an instruction space. It features two theaters, rehearsal studios and scene, metal and paint shops—much of it visible to people passing by outside. Flanked in limestone and glass, the build serves as a gateway to DePaul University's Lincoln Park Campus. The rectangular north facade projects out from the building and glows at night when performances are happening in the 100-seat flexible theater behind it. Wide corridors and open lounges make this LEED building a unique space for theatergoers and students alike.
