DETAILS:
A copper-domed entryway offers just a hint of the wonders inside. This restaurant and entertainment venue opened in 2007 after years of painstaking effort. The elaborate design is inspired by the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. Nearly every surface is covered with decoration. Velvet curtains separate intimate lounge areas from a large performance hall that hosts frequent musical and dance performances. To complement this venue's collection of art and artifacts from around the Muslim world, artisans worked in the traditional styles of the Middle East, the Mediterranean and North Africa to produce custom carved furnishings, sculptures, rugs, mosaics and chandeliers.
