Atelier Manarchy

656 W. Hubbard St.

DETAILS:

This building's large, enigmatic clock face pays homage to clock-tower industrial buildings. Behind the clock is a warm and inviting event space and a spacious photography and art studio. It's decorated with prints of Dennis Manarchy's work and a thoughtful collection of repurposed objects. The renovated 1890s maple syrup factory also includes a peculiar attraction: the world’s largest analog camera. Sitting on a flatbed trailer and nearly the size of a semi truck, the camera once traveled across the United States to take incredibly detailed portraits of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
