Publishing House Bed and Breakfast
108 N. May St.
DETAILS:
This masterfully designed bed & breakfast opened in June 2017. Named in honor of the building’s original occupant, the Free Methodist Publishing House, the four-story loft building is commonly known as the last home of the Museum of Holography. It was converted to upscale accommodations by Chicago-based Nushu Architects with interior design firm Siren Betty. The eleven rooms and common spaces feature 12-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick, salvaged materials, and eclectic but harmonious fixtures and furnishings. Rooms are named after Chicago literary figures such as Cisneros and Bellow.
