Lake Point Tower

Lake Point Tower, with its curvaceous glass facade, is the only high-rise east of Lake Shore Drive. The architects were both students of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Its odd Y-shape is carefully calculated so that all units have unobstructed lake views but residents cannot see into each other's windows. The building's podium is topped by an expansive 2.5-acre rooftop garden designed by renowned landscape architect Alfred Caldwell. Many celebrities have called Lake Point Tower home, including Sammy Sosa, Scottie Pippen, Tom Cruise, David Axelrod and Alice Cooper.
