Edgewater

Riviera Motor Sales Company Building

5960 N. Broadway

DETAILS:

This former high-end Chrysler showroom is a remnant of Edgewater's "Auto Row" from the 1920s. Its elaborate Venetian Gothic facade with pointed terra-cotta arches and enormous plate-glass windows entices visitors to look inside—a very helpful design element for a showroom. Inside, 20-foot coffered ceilings—with gold leaf ornament and original chandeliers—enclose more than 20,000 square feet of stunning showroom space. Until recently, the property was a bank. It is currently seeking a new tenant.
