Half Acre Beer Company, The Big North

Venerable craft brewer Half Acre Beer Co. recently opened its Lincoln Square brewing facility to the public after years of development within the 60,000-square foot bow-truss building. The restaurant has seating for 150 plus a 100-person outdoor beer garden-- about twice the size of Half Acre’s taproom in North Center, with a menu that goes far beyond the burrito. This new facility has greatly increased Half Acre’s production capacity and allowed it to experiment with new styles including several “wyld” and barrel-aged creations. Half Acre joins the burgeoning brew scene in Bowmanville and along nearby Ravenswood Avenue.
