DETAILS:

The Ravenswood Event Center is part of the original Manz Printing Company that was built in stages from 1910-1930. Hayes Properties purchased the entire stretch of buildings from Irving Park Road to Belle Plaine Ave in early the 2000s. A full renovation took place and since 2006 the Center has hosted over 1,500 events. Normally closed to the public, it features a private European sports car and neon billboard collection. All cars are operational and many are used for domestic and international car rallies. The 2nd floor loft is used for smaller events and cocktail hours and the 3rd floor atrium features over 843 windows and soaring views of the city. The north wall was historically used as a canvas to paint billboards that were then photographed and installed throughout the city.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

Visitors can access all three levels via elevator or stairwell and are invited to explore the space on their own, with handouts available to explain the building's history. There is easy street parking and the Montrose Brown Line station is nearby.
