Firebird Community Arts offers highly personalized ceramics and glass blowing instruction from its warehouse-turned-art studio in East Garfield Park. The organization deliberately relocated here in an effort to be closer to, and of better service of, Chicago communities most in need of affordable, high-quality arts instruction and a safe space to practice art as a tool for healing. Firebird has helped thousands of people grow their empathy, work through challenges, find new jobs and see the positive connections between them and those who live around them.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

Visitors can see the studio on self-guided tours, including the glassblowing shop and ceramics studio with demonstrations throughout the day.
