A visit to the Climate Action Museum, the world's 8th climate-focused museum, is a memorable and life-altering “climate rite of passage” for all Chicagoans. Housed in the lobby of the LEED Gold certified 300 S Riverside Plaza building, the museum is dynamic and educational while inspiring both short and long-term decisions that mitigate our Climate Emergency. The Museum is conveniently located along the Chicago River and across from Union Station. The mission of the Climate Action Museum is to activate a tipping point on climate mitigation in the Chicago region through education, stimulating critical thought, and inspiring and facilitating direct action.

ENTRANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

Enter the building using the doors on Jackson St. The museum is on the lobby level behind the security desk.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

The museum space will be open for visitors for guided or self-guided tours, with special activities as well. Snacks and refreshments offered while supplies last.
