DETAILS:

Founded in 2014, Heritage Museum of Asian Art showcases a wide range of art forms, spanning many cultures and time periods of Asia. The museum’s collection includes archaic and modern jades, Neolithic pottery, imperial porcelains, Chinese snuff bottles, scholar’s objects, textiles, bronzes, and more. Classical Chinese furniture also adorns the galleries. The museum has moved a few times as it grew, relocating in 2022 from Chinatown to Bridgeport. Its new building is a multi-use red brick structure blending traditional and modern architectural elements.

VISITOR EXPERIENCE:

Visitors will enjoy a self-guided experience. The museum is on the 3rd floor of the building, with three galleries displaying hundreds of art pieces. There is also a gift shop with a unique array of collectables.
